I opened an account with Cash App in early March and I purchased a bitcoin worth $2000 so that I can send out. I have been trying to verify my account since then in vain.
I have called customer service numerous times trying to get help because the error message is 'Couldn't verify photo. Check your internet connection and try again.' This is very frustrating and time-wasting. Every time I call, the representatives put me on hold and tell me they are working on it... big lie!!!
Because 30-60 minutes later, they say they have forwarded my case to someone else. I have heard this narrative numerous times and I wonder if it's incompetency or the company has enough customers and doesn't need extra ones. Could there be someone out there who can help me to verify my picture and account? That's the only thing I need to finalize my bitcoin transaction!
I have sent a picture of my ID both front and back and my selfie holding it as requested. I just need my account verified.

My husband and i started to start investing in mild amounts, using my cash app to apply the funds for investment with bitcoin! I had my debit card on file as the payment method!
As we began investing with some companies i would add more funds here and there, but when i was done I would always use the lock to my info, so i could not add anymore funds and thought it was safe! After a couple we noticed our funds were changing quite a bit my husband thought i was buying things for our granddaughters but i thought it was him working on truck! Until it hit in our checking account that there was a lot of money was missing! So when we addressed the issue it was showing Large Amounts of money coming out via Cashapp using my debit card!
At that time there was almost $11,000 gone that i did not withdraw and i told my husband that my Cashapp was locked, i couldnt even put money in the App bc it was locked!!! When I proceeded to show my husband that my app was Locked, we saw it was Unlocked then within 2min we saw it Lock itself back! We saw it happen in front of our eyes and i was horrified! That meant anyone can unlock somenes app take funds using my debit card and then Locking it back!
I was absolutly torn to pieces and couldntt believe it! I at that time removed my card and locked it back my husband went to our bank the next morning to cancel my card and to see what to do! So they canceled my card and showed him that bc it was my name on the card with the wiithdraws they would do an inquiry but they didnt know what they could do! Then later that day they still got into the app 3 times that day and in total stole another $1000!
So basically we Lost almost $12,000 due to the Faulty Locking System YOU Provide that can be HACKED !!!
This has been the hardest thing to go thru, I have blamed myself, tore my nerves up , how were we going to pay our bills, Bc of ur. Lock System failed!
People need to be notified so they can Delete ur App and NEVER USE IT!! YOU just got out of a massive Lawsuit We have spoken to an attorney, but we thought we would see how you would want to Fix this Problem First!

There are a number of charges that has been declined that I did not request. So one of the things that was needed at the CTC risk system I don't understand the reason for this.
All in which the charges started on March 23 at 4:58 PM and received more this morning at 8:26 AM April 10. Please help me resolve.

Canceled order at Walmart on Oct 30 and still pending on my Cash App. Only get 945 a month and both company's messing with my income.
Told me I should get my money at end of day on November 9th.
Lied to me and said Walmart still has money after Walmart wrote me and said released money in Oct 30/31. Talked to numerous Cash App Support on X and on App and still same ol line.

I have two accounts that I lost access to because I lost my phone. As a result, I no longer had access to that phone number and, moreover, I also lost access to my Gmail account.
I have $30 in each account, adding up to $60 in total. Despite my efforts to recover my accounts using my social security number, which is linked to both accounts, I have been unsuccessful. They are refusing to verify my account using the said information, thereby essentially withholding my $60.
Even when I offer proof of my identity, they're unresponsive. It bewildering how they can seemingly get away with this apparent act of theft.

All my information concerning Cash app has been changed. And my whole direct deposit at the end of October was taken. Cash app customer service has not helped me one bit this evening. I had to hang u.

Theres nothing they can do they say I need someone to hang up on him. He was very rude not really rude, but he thought it was funny and kept asking me my name and then he would giggle a little bit and say what do you want me to do and he would put me on hold like every 10 minutes and you get back on and say are you still there and Id say yeah he say OK Im still working and I could try to ask him something and right away disappear again three times and then he come back every time he came back he said what was your name again and your ZIP Code I said I already told you and he says well we cant help you and I said you have to help me well I dont understand what it is youre calling for what you want me to do. I just told you I told him I have been scammed. I need someone to help me see how who and where my money is and who hacked into my account and changed all my information on my Cash app and I wish you guys could record these customer service people.
I think theyre the ones that are getting into these peoples accounts because all right away at the end of October my last direct deposit 400 and something thank God that was my pay for the week I went to Vegas my sister got married anyway I called to see if my direct deposit had made it on my card yet and it said my balance was whatever and I looked at my cash app and it said I got my direct deposit and I there was hardly any thing on my card. It was like 400 and my direct deposit was gone it got direct deposited and right away the whole 400 and something was gone. I think its a customer service people. The guy I talk to last night was that it was funny and he kept putting me on hold and holding.
He said I wanna talk to the higher up people and then he comes back and says well, youre gonna have to call. I cant do nothing because its a weekend you gotta call back Monday and I said you told me you were just talking to them no and I go what were you doing? He goes he started giggling. I dont know what you want me or what youre asking me and I said I want you to Give me somebody I can talk to.
So I told him I was going to call when the higher up people with the fraud department got there Monday morning. He goes whats your name again and I had to hang up on him. He kept asking me the same thing and put me on hold and didnt do nothing. I think these people are the ones taking who else can get my information.
Change my email change my phone number. Change my Cash tag write the day I get my check direct deposited. They knew I guess it may be. I dont know.
I got a police report and even happened to my PayPal so PayPal gave me the email phone number that they changed it to because I gave him my email. The one Ive had for years and she said but thats not right and yes, it said it on my app too then so it was crazy. Its crazy.

I've never gone through anything like this in my life. It makes no sense. All I need is for my money to be deposited into my account.

Don't like it at all
He stated that I needed to verify the phone number or email address associated with the cashapp account and he said that it needed to be verified and I asked what did he mean and said by uploading an ID or birth certificate and I stated that I've never had to do that before, so that must be something new !

Don't contact any of the people advertising tech help below. They are trying constantly to get people with Zelle, Chime, Venmo and Cash app to give them private details. Don't get scammed.

This is so wrong to others people do not have money for for you guys are just take from them as a customer and other customers they have kids and it's not right so I don't think it's fair and I think is wrong nobody responded to me money was taken from me and why do others get treated like this again as a loyal customer is so wrong to me and others
