Every two months or so, my account locks and prevents me from making online or over-the-phone purchases or bill payments. The very first time this happened, I was able to reach the mythical unicorn, which was the customer service representative that actually knew how to fix the problem.

The next three times I've had to call about this issue, the customer service representatives have outright lied to me and stated that I could not make payments to those vendors with my Cash App debit card. When I stated that I pay every single month with that card, rather than acknowledging what I'm saying or, *** acknowledging the payment history to that vendor, customer service doubles down and tries to end the call. When I've asked to speak to someone else, I've been told that isn't possible and I need to call back.

When I've asked to speak to a supervisor, I've been told that also is not possible and I'd have to send an email. When I asked how to file a complaint due to poor customer service, I was told, 'I don't know.' Cash App doesn't have a customer support line; they have a building full of *** that have no idea how to fix a problem, that Cash App pays two cents an hour to keep up the appearance of customer service.
