Can I get my refund after making payment and cancelling payment within an hour?I sent 5$ dollar and $15 to the wrong person. I called the person to refund the money but no response.

The person has $yesthatme0 as the cash app name. The person has this number 470329**** but uses different cash app number.

According to the Cash App help section, all payments are instant and can’t be canceled. If you sent money to a wrong person, you should contact the recipient and ask for a refund. They should follow these steps:
  • tap the Activity tab on the Cash App home screen;
  • select the payment in question;
  • tap . . .;
  • select Refund;
  • press OK.

You can also use the Request button on your Cash App home screen to ask for the funds back.

According to cash.app, you may speak to a member of the Cash Team by requesting a contact through the Cash App or cash.app/help.

Thank you for your comment, although they state "we do not have live customer support, you can only communicate with them via email" but then they do not respond, my money was released to a fraudulent account on 7/29/20, I've provided a letter to them with the fraudulent account number it went through from DOL with ACH traces and they have still not done anything about it, now they do not even respond to my emails, I mailed them the letters via the post office to their corporate office and still nothing. This is by far the worst experience with a "bank" I have ever had. A real bank with standards would not have let my money go into an account that was not mine, it would have kicked it back immediately, but CashApp has no standards, no morals, no trust or loyalty to their customers.

Same thing has happened to me, its really crazy how after reaching out to then they will stop responding to my emails calls letters, they should be shut down!!

I am experiencing the same problem now. I have been waiting 60 days for a solution of 8 claims disputes from unauthorized transactions. Whenever I chat with their "support" team I am told that someone would email me. This is so disappointing.

According to the Cash App help section, if you noticed a Cash card payment you did not authorize, you should report your Cash card as stolen via the app:
  • tap the Cash Card tab on your Cash App home screen;
  • tap the image of your Cash Card;
  • select Problem With Card;
  • tap Card Stolen;
  • confirm with your PIN or Touch ID.

I would expect they are leary of you as well. You are at risk for being scammed if you aren’t using a safe platform to sell your items. What else can you do but release the number but maybe do some research on the name of the buyer.
