On 10/06/24 I woke up at 4:08am EST to find that my cashapp was signed out of my phone so i signed back in to find a message that states my cashapp account has been closed due to violating terms of service and that most features of the app i can't use but i am still able to withdraw my funds and bitcoin. I had 571.16$ remaining in my balance, being that my account was closed I was unable to use my cash app card to withdraw the funds that were remaining in my cash app account, so I transferred the 571.16$ from my cash app to an external account which would be my husband's PayPal account and cash app charged me a 10$ transfer fee so the total amount that was transferred to my PayPal account was 561.16$, so i went to see if the money was available in my husband's paypal account but the transaction said pending credit received unclaimed so I asked paypal what that meant and they said that the money was transferred to a wrong phone number, email, or paypal account but I put the actual card number into my cashapp when I withdrew the funds so I asked paypal to cancel the transaction transfer in hopes that it would immediately go back to my cash app account but there is no money in my cash app account and I have contacted PayPal and they have confirmed the transaction has been canceled and the funds were never received.

The 561.16$ should of been returned to my cash app account but the funds are no where to be found, it's been over 2 weeks today I have contacted PayPal and cash app multiple times and nobody can help me. I have screenshots of proof that I never received the money and that it was canceled.

On 10/06/24, my account was closed and I had $571.16 remaining in my balance. Being that my account was closed, I was unable to use my Cash App card to withdraw the funds that were remaining.

So, I transferred the $571.16 from my Cash App to an external account, which would be my PayPal account card number ending in ****. Cash App charged me a $10 transfer fee, so the total amount that was transferred to my PayPal account was $561.16. However, it just said pending unclaimed transfer and I canceled it so the funds would go back to my Cash App account. But there is no money in my Cash App account, and I have contacted PayPal and they have confirmed the transaction has been canceled and the funds were never received.

The $561.16 should have been returned to my Cash App account, but the funds are nowhere to be found.

It's been five business days today, and I have contacted PayPal and Cash App multiple times, but nobody can help me. I have screenshots as proof that I never received the money and that it was canceled.

2. **Violation of Californias Unfair Competition Law (Business & Professions Code § 17200):** - **Due Process Denied:** My account was blocked without reasonable explanation, and I was not given an opportunity to contest the decision, reflecting an unfair business practice.

I was buying a phone from him from Facebook market. We met and the phone was in the box.

I asked him to open and he will hand it over to me only when I had made payment. I sent to him, and just when I was on it, his driver called him to check something quickly for him. He handed the phone to me and said he was coming so we open it together. I trusted him and confirmed the transfer.

As soon as the money was confirmed, he quickly sped off the car.

When I opened the box, it was a metallic object in the box. I reported the transfer to cashapp and till date, they didn't do anything about it

So why is it when I send proof and pictures? They cant decipher these pictures Im gonna post about how money had been taken out of my account and I added to the actual app.

I added it to yet the app is stating they didnt even get it which it shows that they didnt get it but yet on my Cash app, it says that it got taken out of my account, but you guys are going to dispute it for 90 days. Thats just the dumbest thing Ive ever heard You guys messed up.

You lost my transaction or something and then youre gonna tell me I have to wait 90 days to get my money back because you guys want to make it a joke out of my account thats discrimination, biased, prejudice, and all the other just overwhelming. You fool.. No One in this company is taking small amount from your account.

No one is discriminating against you. Other than your horrible writing skills, how could they know anything about you. Your account has been compromised. Disconnect the pay method immediately.

These are probably test transactions ran by an operation that can't keep track of what they are doing.

You're about to be hit hard. You may also want to establish credit freezes and check your credit (even if it's garbage) to be sure that this doesn't go beyond Cash App.

Nothing has been updated even after my phone has been updated . Nor have I received a call or text or email regarding the situation yet .

Just how they bypassed your message from me they did the same to me . I find it strange around filing time nobody for.

Their company is being active . I would like to use this company in the further besides filing so this is bad when people say cash app is not good I whole heartedly defend them saying free enterprise and low fees is beautiful and they fix their issues until June 2024 and now the same thing I’m not sure if this is a pattern but clearing something has drastically changed

So today I decided to start my filing process with cash app ; to get money a little earlier due to recent hardships. Accidentally put the wrong password and try to renter was denied entry .

So I called cash app customer services expressing concerns how I didnt use the password but once and can I reset the account or can someone unlock it I was told that they would look into the matter ; after two hours of wasted trouble shooting I was able to identify myself and supposedly make a new password to file and it was unlocked . However when getting off the phone it was still locked unable to put new password I created to enter in to file . Not sure if its a tech issue or fowl play just would like to know why I was being lied too and how its not resolve with no email or update and still unable to file .

The cash app services aside from filing works fine . I give cash app business but this is not a non serious matter cuz its attached to my income and business .

Yes I'm contacting you because I have been arguing back and forth with cash app for over a month now there are two transactions One is for 1988 one is for 13 and some change I paid for them using cash app pay both times I was on my phone so I saw the notification the minute it hit so I click on that cash app and it shows that the money was refunded only my balance was still zero both times so I've talked to temu several times who says that they refunded the money I talked to cash app several times who says the money was refunded there's nothing they can do then one of the representatives went back and added everything up and saw that I was telling the truth and the money was not returned so he tried to find a manager and explain to them what happened and they escalated the case at least 20 times and I have yet to hear from anyone so I've talked to them on the phone I've talked to them through the chat and they said that the money was going back to my bank account which I don't know why it would because it did not come for my bank account it came from cash app but either way I have the bank statements proven that it never was deposited into my bank account either I can't let this kind of money go I realize it may not be much to y'all but it's all I have I need my money back and I need it now also every time I talk to them they all claim that they cannot find a manager and they have to escalate my case and I will hear something via email but I never hear anything from anyone The customer service is the worst I've ever dealt with they're not helpful they're full excuses they sound nice but they don't actually do or help or accomplish anything and like I said it does show the transactions were refunded however my cash app was completely on zero and after it showed they were refunded it did not change and I don't know cash up any money and it was not taken for any other transactions there is no reason why it wasn't in that account other than it was not returned it won't let me use my regular email so the email for the account is

My daughter creates various pieces of artwork, such as paintings and pictures, which she sells. She doesn't sell a lot, but she does manage to sell a few. For her transactions, she primarily uses the Cash App to receive payments. Her last payment came from a fellow student who commissioned her to paint his bedroom wall. Despite her meticulous work, when he attempted to send the $25 payment, which was all she charged, it was blocked. I received a notification informing me that the transaction was out of the ordinary. However, it didn't detail why it was categorized as such, nor did it provide an option to approve or dispute the transaction.

In response to this issue, I contacted Cash App's support team via text, providing them with my daughter's details. They located the transaction and clarified that it was blocked because it was deemed unusual. They added that the payment cannot be accepted and that they could not provide further assistance regarding this specific transaction. Perplexed, I asked why the transaction was considered unusual. Regrettably, their response was repetitive and unhelpful.

Seeking answers, I asked for a contact number so I could speak directly with a representative from Cash App. I got in touch with a representative who, despite initially seeming puzzled by the block, merely echoed the same response I had received through text. When I questioned the nature of the supposed unusualness, he vaguely suggested retrying the transaction or seeking alternative methods for receiving payment.

Frustrated with his breezy dismissal and unsolicited advice, I reiterated my desire to understand how Cash App determines if a transaction is unusual. This concern felt especially pertinent considering this was a payment, not a withdrawal, and the amount in question was not substantial -- just $25. Unhelpfully, the representative began to repeat the same response, which I cut short. Insisting on speaking to a supervisor, I was kept on hold for 10 to 15 minutes before being informed no supervisor was available.

Instead, he promised to forward my concerns to an email supervisor, who would then contact me via email. Despite my request to wait for a supervisor, I was told that this was my only option. Predictably, I never received an email.

Thus, I am left in confusion as to why a $25 payment was deemed unusual and subsequently blocked. Furthermore, there seems to me no way to ensure this doesn't happen in the future. Despite being the sponsor of my daughter's account, I have no control over which payments are approved or declined. Yet, oddly, they allow her to send payments to people who aren't on her contact list. She's received payments from numerous unlisted people, and I've never been contacted once for permission.

Since I've sponsored her account for over a year, it’s puzzling why they suddenly blocked one transaction deemed 'out of the ordinary.' I've received no explanation as to why it was considered as such or how they came to such a conclusion. Furthermore, I was repeatedly told there is no recourse to prevent this in the future. We signed up for the Cash App to receive payments, yet there seems to be an opaque process of determining which transactions are approved and why others are blocked. It's frustrating and disheartening, to say the least.

Although my daughter will eventually receive the $25, the point is that there is a lack of transparency regarding the process of blocking transactions deemed 'out of the ordinary.' We deserve a clear, satisfactory answer, and more importantly, the reassurance of a fair process with our financial transactions moving forward.

I have been trying to withdraw my money for over 4 weeks now. I keep getting told I have to use a previous card, which I do not have.

I have $972 on my account; it was supposed to be verified, but then they closed my account. They have not given me any solutions to get my money other than linking a previous card that I don't have. I have asked over and over for the money to be sent back to my employer so they can write me a check or send it to another bank I have, but again I'm told no and that there is nothing they can do. Every support person I have talked to has been rude and not helpful at all.

I need my money sent to another bank, a solution to withdraw it, or sent back to my employer. This is crazy that my paychecks, which I worked for, are being held there, and I can't spend a penny of it.

All I want is my money sent back or a solution to withdraw it and then close my account permanently. I will no longer use Cash App again; I have had nothing but problems and no help at all, so please help me complete one of the options I have asked for so I can please get my money that I worked for.

I opened an account with Cash App in early March and I purchased a bitcoin worth $2000 so that I can send out. I have been trying to verify my account since then in vain.

I have called customer service numerous times trying to get help because the error message is 'Couldn't verify photo. Check your internet connection and try again.' This is very frustrating and time-wasting. Every time I call, the representatives put me on hold and tell me they are working on it... big lie!!!

Because 30-60 minutes later, they say they have forwarded my case to someone else. I have heard this narrative numerous times and I wonder if it's incompetency or the company has enough customers and doesn't need extra ones. Could there be someone out there who can help me to verify my picture and account? That's the only thing I need to finalize my bitcoin transaction!

I have sent a picture of my ID both front and back and my selfie holding it as requested. I just need my account verified.

My husband and i started to start investing in mild amounts, using my cash app to apply the funds for investment with bitcoin! I had my debit card on file as the payment method!

As we began investing with some companies i would add more funds here and there, but when i was done I would always use the lock to my info, so i could not add anymore funds and thought it was safe! After a couple we noticed our funds were changing quite a bit my husband thought i was buying things for our granddaughters but i thought it was him working on truck! Until it hit in our checking account that there was a lot of money was missing! So when we addressed the issue it was showing Large Amounts of money coming out via Cashapp using my debit card!

At that time there was almost $11,000 gone that i did not withdraw and i told my husband that my Cashapp was locked, i couldnt even put money in the App bc it was locked!!! When I proceeded to show my husband that my app was Locked, we saw it was Unlocked then within 2min we saw it Lock itself back! We saw it happen in front of our eyes and i was horrified! That meant anyone can unlock somenes app take funds using my debit card and then Locking it back!

I was absolutly torn to pieces and couldntt believe it! I at that time removed my card and locked it back my husband went to our bank the next morning to cancel my card and to see what to do! So they canceled my card and showed him that bc it was my name on the card with the wiithdraws they would do an inquiry but they didnt know what they could do! Then later that day they still got into the app 3 times that day and in total stole another $1000!

So basically we Lost almost $12,000 due to the Faulty Locking System YOU Provide that can be HACKED !!!

This has been the hardest thing to go thru, I have blamed myself, tore my nerves up , how were we going to pay our bills, Bc of ur. Lock System failed!

People need to be notified so they can Delete ur App and NEVER USE IT!! YOU just got out of a massive Lawsuit We have spoken to an attorney, but we thought we would see how you would want to Fix this Problem First!
