On 10/06/24 I woke up at 4:08am EST to find that my cashapp was signed out of my phone so i signed back in to find a message that states my cashapp account has been closed due to violating terms of service and that most features of the app i can't use but i am still able to withdraw my funds and bitcoin. I had 571.16$ remaining in my balance, being that my account was closed I was unable to use my cash app card to withdraw the funds that were remaining in my cash app account, so I transferred the 571.16$ from my cash app to an external account which would be my husband's PayPal account and cash app charged me a 10$ transfer fee so the total amount that was transferred to my PayPal account was 561.16$, so i went to see if the money was available in my husband's paypal account but the transaction said pending credit received unclaimed so I asked paypal what that meant and they said that the money was transferred to a wrong phone number, email, or paypal account but I put the actual card number into my cashapp when I withdrew the funds so I asked paypal to cancel the transaction transfer in hopes that it would immediately go back to my cash app account but there is no money in my cash app account and I have contacted PayPal and they have confirmed the transaction has been canceled and the funds were never received.
The 561.16$ should of been returned to my cash app account but the funds are no where to be found, it's been over 2 weeks today I have contacted PayPal and cash app multiple times and nobody can help me. I have screenshots of proof that I never received the money and that it was canceled.
So, I transferred the $571.16 from my Cash App to an external account, which would be my PayPal account card number ending in ****. Cash App charged me a $10 transfer fee, so the total amount that was transferred to my PayPal account was $561.16. However, it just said pending unclaimed transfer and I canceled it so the funds would go back to my Cash App account. But there is no money in my Cash App account, and I have contacted PayPal and they have confirmed the transaction has been canceled and the funds were never received.
The $561.16 should have been returned to my Cash App account, but the funds are nowhere to be found.
It's been five business days today, and I have contacted PayPal and Cash App multiple times, but nobody can help me. I have screenshots as proof that I never received the money and that it was canceled.

I really mistook my Cash App as playing a trick on me. I'm sorry for the inconvenience with my account. I'm not so pissed, but in reality, I was new to the whole thing. Somewhat or somehow, I'm not so good with technology.
I'm apologizing; I really need help. Truly sorry but grateful for another chance so i deeply realized this is my second time in two years i believe ive done this before you guys not approve my one appeal thought i needed to let you know my cash app theme changed this is what led me to this mistake somehow its all green now things different i dont know how or whats the reason i updated my app of cash app then boom all of a sudden different things appeared days later my only big complaint or reason im on this case so bad is i actually had an female assistant from you guys mistakenly ask for my pin i was told there were no way that happen but im clearly sure of this plus i was hung up on i dont know if that was practice for that person or i was confusing her maybe a lil to hard on her to make it more interesting tears was in my eyes and i was left hanging i tried my best to get in touch with someone that can help also this has been tough all around so yea help me please i love cash app thanks for listening to me resolve my mistake i wish

I can't open my account or do anything with my account. It's had kicked me off many accounts saying due to security issues but no one tells me anything.
And then they just say that they not allowed to talk to me about my account. Smh this is trash

Hello, my name is Tiffany Jackson. I was on Facebook and came across the ad for Big Lots' clearance going out of business sale, which is 65% off offering a coupon.
So I'm thinking that the transaction would have been legit. I ordered a queen-size bed, two chairs, and a few other furniture decor items for my home. The website explained how the transaction would go. First, after receiving my payment, they would send me an email with my FedEx tracking number once everything was shipped.
That was June 21st, 2025. Today is August 2nd, 2025. I never received any of the items; they never emailed me a tracking number at all, and I never received my refund! I contacted the website's customer service, but they never reached back out to me to try to solve this situation.
Facebook representatives explained that even though they promote the website knowing that it's a scam, they won't be held responsible. I disputed charges with Cash App six different times in the past two months now. Each time I tried to explain to Cash App management exactly what happened, including pictures of the website and comments from the many, many people this website has scammed. Just for Cash App to turn around and deny each dispute, claiming that they have done full research and the website delivered my items.
Cash App closed my case and told me that they could not override the decision and that there is nothing that can be done about it. I never received the items that I paid for, and thanks to Cash App, I never received a refund. The decision was made without a full investigation. It's been two months now, and I'm still trying to get my refund returned to my Cash App balance.
I've been using Cash App for over ten years now, and that is really unacceptable how the management didn't take the time to look into this transaction or situation. Instead, they closed my case and refused to open it so I can at least get my refund back.
I expect the management to be more understanding while dealing with a situation having full knowledge, but they just allow this company to take my money. And will not reopen my case.

One of the disputes with Cash App, they said I got the merchandise 2 times and I didn't get anything for my money. One purchase wasn't on my card.
The other one was for the GLP-1, and it takes you to sparkling wonders. This is *** Cash App sucks big D.

For 2 weeks now I've been fighting with these idiots about my legal name change. After supplying them with my legal documentation of the change, 2 weeks ago, I continue to have no resolution.
They have confirmed multiple times receipt of my documents, and then torn around and ask for them all over again. I got a message saying the issue was resolved, only to find that it still wasn't, and to be asked yet again for my legal documentation of name change. And over 2 dozen messages asking me to activate my new cashapp card that still DOES NOT have my new legal name. This company is highly incompetent.
If they can't get a name right then how are they handling people's money?!
Ridiculous!
I'll use Venmo through my bank. Deal with cashapp at your own risk!

Cash App customer service is a horrible experience....they just try to spin you....they don't want to do any work....they also refused to put me in touch with a supervisor or manager!!
I was charged for a wrong purchase; a refund was issued. I now need the money back immediately so I can make the correct purchase, and I have no other money available!
I am traveling for business with my fiancé, and if I do not get this money back immediately, my fiancé and I will have no place to sleep tonight... and my corporate lawyers will be handling the matter!

There is almost no method to receive the help you need once the employees have decided not to help.
After being told cashapp debit cards couldn't be used for these payments, i transferred the money to a relatives cashapp account and used their cashapp debit card to make the payments with no issue. So, again, cashapp seems to simply lie when they dont have an answet.
The next three times I've had to call about this issue, the customer service representatives have outright lied to me and stated that I could not make payments to those vendors with my Cash App debit card. When I stated that I pay every single month with that card, rather than acknowledging what I'm saying or, *** acknowledging the payment history to that vendor, customer service doubles down and tries to end the call. When I've asked to speak to someone else, I've been told that isn't possible and I need to call back.
When I've asked to speak to a supervisor, I've been told that also is not possible and I'd have to send an email. When I asked how to file a complaint due to poor customer service, I was told, 'I don't know.' Cash App doesn't have a customer support line; they have a building full of *** that have no idea how to fix a problem, that Cash App pays two cents an hour to keep up the appearance of customer service.

I spent 30 minutes on the phone with Cash App trying to fix money from an old account to a new account that was accidentally sent to the old account. All information was verified.
All identity was verified. I am this lady's husband.
After being transferred to the auditor, I was told that they cannot help me. Totally pissed me off.
